 Who owns Dubai's, Burj Khalifa?

Dubai's Burj Khalifa is the tallest structure in the world. The building was completed in 2009 and has an Observation deck that is 374 meters (1,239 feet) high. The tower has been controversial because of its cost and its effect on the city's skyline.

The world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, has been a popular tourist destination since it opened in 2010. But who actually owns the skyscraper?
The answer is not clear-cut, as the tower is owned by a number of different entities. Dubai's ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, is the majority owner, with a 60 percent stake. The rest of the ownership is split among other investors, including Saudi Arabia's Prince Alwaleed and Amar Properties, which developed and built the tower.

So who manages and operates the Burj Khalifa? That responsibility falls to Amar Properties as well. The company has come under fire in recent years for its handling of the tower, including allegations that it overcharges tourists to visit.
